• Asharqia Chamber receives the King Abdul Aziz Award for Quality

    ​For adopting the criteria of the National Model of ExcellenceAsharqia Chamber receives the King Abdul Aziz Award for Quality​


    Asharqia Chamber won the Institutional Excellence Award in the category of medium establishments within the sixth session of the King Abdul Aziz Award for Quality, for adopting the standards of the national model of excellence by applying the foundations and techniques of quality. 

    The chamber's attainment of this level of the award came in return for its commitment to quality specifications and standards of institutional excellence and the provision of continuous improvement practices for its internal operations and its achievement of beneficiaries' satisfaction in line with the national index of institutional excellence.

    The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Ruzaiz, said that the Chamber's obtaining this merit reflects the extent of commitment to the standards of excellence in performance to achieve the satisfaction of the beneficiaries of the Chamber's services, and pointed out that the award, with its many criteria, has become an indicator for measuring performance and a catalyst for competitiveness between institutions in The Kingdom has different activities, and a well-established path to promote a culture of quality and institutional excellence and raise the level of quality, whether in products or services.

    Al-Ruzaiza state that the Chamber's institutional excellence to the great support and care that the Chamber receives from His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, and His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Region, who are always keen to follow up on the work of The Chamber and standing next to it to be a distinguished platform in providing its services, and also refer it to the Chamber’s executive body, which is rooted in the principles of continuous improvement and is keen to reach the Chamber to the best practices of institutional excellence.

    Al-Ruzaiza stressed that the award at all levels stimulates the continuity of development and improvement in the provision of services and that the Chamber proceeds in its vision and mission from values related to the standards of continuous improvement of performance.
    For his part, the Secretary General of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel, expressed his happiness with this achievement, stressing that the chamber's access to the bronze level in the King Abdulaziz Award for Institutional Excellence comes as an embodiment of the well-established culture within the chamber of the need to achieve excellence and the continuous pursuit to reach the best performance in The provision of services,
      He said that the award is the national framework for institutional excellence standards and raising the level of f performance, and the main catalyst for advancing excellence in all institutions and entities in the Kingdom.​
